Respecting Others is Key
Allowing a child to learn manners is an incredible gift that allows them to feel comfortable, at ease and not self-conscious in social situations. Teaching children manners and etiquette, with an emphasis on valuing others, is important for the individual child, the family unit, the community and society as a whole. Manners and etiquette are skills that need to be taught, just as math, grammar, football and soccer skills are taught.
